math1010

i have a math exam coming up next friday, so i've just been grinding a bit and using the University of Utah's Math 1010 materials to prepare.

to be honest, it's way easier to follow along when you use your school's material in addition to resources outside of your school's curriculum.

the lectures are well-structured and the examples they provide really help solidify the concepts. plus, the practice problems are super helpful for getting ready for the exam.

here are some of my critique points about the german education system that i think could be improved:

  • they don't give enough deep explanations in their teaching methods, which makes it harder to fully grasp complex concepts.
  • the pace is often too fast, leaving little time for students to absorb the material before moving on.
  • there's a lack of practical applications shown, which could help in understanding how the concepts are used in real life.
  • so overall, american education seems to have some advantages in terms of depth and practical application, at least from my perspective.

  • they give you step-by-step explanations which really help in understanding the material fully.
  • the pace is more manageable, allowing students to really absorb the concepts before moving on.
  • they often show how concepts apply in real-world scenarios, making it easier to see the relevance of what you're learning.
  • i guess every education system has its pros and cons, but for now, i'm just glad to have found some good resources to help me prepare for my exam!
